AT&T has been providing long distance inbound services to the Virgin Islands since 1936 and has had a telecommunications operation in the territory for over 30 years.

Today, AT&T maintains state-of-the-art cable facilities on both St. Thomas and St. Croix, linking the territory via fiber optic cable systems to the AT&T Worldwide Intelligent Network.
